Unable to change 'Transaction Type' text.
OK, so firstly I'll let you know that I now realise that those options that are unaffected by the language localisation files (LLF) are in fact set via the vAccount configuration 'Terminologies' interface.
In that regard my issue is resolved (and I'm sorry for any time expended by your team), in that I can amend the textual descriptions of the relevant menu items. However for consistency are there any particular reasons that prevent the values being read from the language localisation files and the same being edited by the terminologies interface (or in fact abandoning the 'Terminologies' interface in favour of direct editing of the LLF)? There would be a small reduction in the vAccount component code footprint, and the creation of language localisation consistency.
If the values are not being obtained from the language localisation files then is there any reason why the values are contained in them? Why not simply remove those unused values from the LLF's and reduce the code footprint?
Some further investigation would seem to point to the issue being in the administrator/components/com_vaccount/controller.php
There seems to be a coding inconsistency in the adding of the sub-menus in the controller which doesn't use the JText class to pull in the textual elements for some of the menu items.
On further investigation it would initially appear that a number of the dashboard text elements are 'hard coded' and that their inclusion in the language files is immaterial. However this would mean that certain elements within vAccounts cannot be localised in terms of language.
Those items that remain in lower-case (see attached graphic) are the elements that would appear to not be obtaining any localisation from the language files.
I'm unable to change the 'Transaction Type' text in the dashboard (for the Transaction Type section option) by editing the appropriate language files. Neither changes to the admin or site files result in any change in the dashboard. All other amendments I have made are reflected correctly.
Where / how can this be edited?
